Ongoing Classes

Hard Qigong:  The marriage of strength and flexibility is the foundation of beautiful Taiji. Hard Qigong is a strengthening practice that includes punching, kicking, sits ups, push ups, Warrior Qigong, and more. It builds muscle and bone while cleaning Bing (stinky) Qi out of the body. We follow the hard practices with Taiji stretching to bring together strength and flexibility.

8:00-8:45 am eastern: Monday and Thursday

Dao Yin:  Dao 导 Yin 引 (Dao: to transmit; to lead; to guide; to conduct; to direct, Yin: to lead; to divert (water); to guide) comes to us from Grandmaster Li. It is an ideal daily practice to maintain and gently enhance health, wellness and longevity. Build up a pattern for your life! Excellent for beginners, and suitable for all levels. Seated form.

8:00-8:45 am eastern: Tuesday and Friday

Nourishing Life: Practice a variety of both community and temple forms that help smooth and balance the energetic structure, unite  physical and energetic bodies, and improve the quality and density of Qi, supporting healthy longevity. Monday classes focus on level 1 forms. Tuesday and Friday on level 2 forms. Most practice is done standing.

10:00-10:30 am eastern: Monday, Tuesday and Friday

Healing Alchemy of Qigong: Theory and practice come together as we explore the healing and alchemical properties and benefits of Qigong. This practice includes a mixture of seated and standing.

9:30-10:30am eastern: Wednesdays

Primordial 3: Wu Dang Hun Yuan Qigong III is a very internal and advanced form of Qigong for healing and transformation. Assumes knowledge of energetic anatomy and a foundation in Qigong. This is a seated practice.
