Dear Friends,
Here we are at the height of summer and the new moon (Wednesday 6/25 [join us for New Moon Medley]) is marking the beginning of a new cycle. In combination with other aspects, this new moon asks us to take a closer look at our home and family. How do you nurture your Self? How do you and your environment nurture, support and keep you safe?
I’ve been observing the Hosta that are in abundance at the studio, watching as the first green of their leaves poked out of the earth, announcing spring back in April, their growth through May as their leaves gained fullness and spread out obscuring the ground,

the appearance of flower stems, buds and then flowers in June. As the flowers open, the bees visit each individual floret, climbing into the bell, collecting pollen, and then, within hours, the floret closes down, crumples around the stamen, pollination complete. Within just days each floret will be replaced by a bright green seedpod, heavily weighing the flower stem down to the ground.
This evanescent beauty explodes and transforms the garden into a fairy kingdom. It is said that an immortal lives in each flower: the tomato flower equal with the Hosta or the rose. Certainly, each has its own spirit, its own form of manifestation, just as do we humans. The divine spark that, when nurtured, can lead us back to the heavenly realm.
How are you nurturing yourself?
Wishing you a joyful and abundant summer!
Love, Peace and Joy,
Corinne
